Archive for August 2003

We got up early and met at Johns for some off roading. On the drive up to Amicoloa the skies started falling…but we decided to go for it anyway.

Casualties
Jonathan: right side, fog lights, two flat tires. Pictures available, just email me. Tommy: three flat tires, I wound up loaning him my spare. Us Jeep folk have to stick together.

Note to self: Do NOT go off roading in wet Georgia clay ever again.

I love the rain. Almost more than the pounding of the drops themselves, I love playing in the after-rain. I had an absolutely amazing 10 mile ride after work through the canopy of the soaked leaves…there is almost nothing better. Almost.

Also, WTF? How is it August already? Lastly, Colin Farrell is my new favorite actor, and it’s not just because he’s Irish. We rented The Recruit on the dish Friday night and it was ~charged~. His American accent was impeccible (except for one scene towards the end where he’s yelling) and he was just all around superb.

I write, you read. It's a clean and simple relationship.
