Day:

IKEA. It’s not just a store, it’s an experience. It’s such a pity they don’t have one here, they’d make a killing. Maybe we’re not as desperate for it as we are for something like a Burke-Williams, but I’d certainly do my best to keep them in business. Needless to say, I spent a few duckets there — the only thing that stopped me was a limited amount of space in my luggage…and even with that Jennifer has to mail me a few things.

Night:

I went with Leah and several of her friends to Largo, an intimate, groovy yet seedy comedy club. The food was nothing to write home about, but then again, it was Italian-ish food in a joint owned by an Irish guy so I wasn’t expecting much. Greg Proops was on fire, and while Patton Oswalt was funny, he had an RU486 bit that was troubling.
