No. Take too long. Let me sum up. Buttercup marry Humperdink in a little less than half an hour.
Whoops.
What I meant to say was this: Kerry hasn’t flip flopped at all.
Consider this new “war” a proposal. You agree to get married. It’s time, you feel passionately about it, it’s the right thing to do.
What you don’t agree on are things like how much to spend on the wedding, who’s invited, what you’re going to wear, where the wedding will be, what kind of food to serve.
THEN, your fiance goes ahead and does all the planning without you - which you don’t agree with, but they’ve got all the money so what can you do, really? Well, you can say “I didn’t want to get married by Elvis in Vegas, and oh, by the way, we bought one way tickets - how are we getting home?”
No flip-flopping involved, just a lot of folks that believe the crap the media feeds them without considering all the facts.
Or, you can consider it a dinner invitation.
Them: “Hey, we’re going to Salt tonight, want to go”?
You: “Sure, I’d love to! Who else is going?”
Them: “Me, Kyle, Joe, Baldie.”
You: “Oh…nah. Not sure I can deal with Joe tonight.”
Sounded good at first, right? Then you get more facts, the picture changes and so does your desire to participate.
Or…from Leah:
“Wait, this college doesn’t have a business school? Should I transfer or switch majors? And who wrote up this brochure saying it DID?”
Simple, really, if you look at the facts.
