Last Thursday I spent a few moments reminicing about my trip to Ireland – reading over my posts and hitting the sites affiliated with the people and places I visited. I lingered on the Mornington House, becoming lost in the mental pictures of lush rolling hills and trying to reclaim the sensation the touch of the heavy damp air brought.

Thursday afternoon I recieved this email:

Dear Maigh.
You may be interested to hear I was talking to Patrick Shaw (Shaw’s Hardware) today and he remembers your father from school days in Mullingar and your grandparents and aunts of course. Next time you are over you must meet him.
