As I’ve explained in earlier posts, I like lists. I enjoy having organization, order, a rhythm and a harmony to my chaos. One of the ways I push this out into “real life” is by listing my goals four times a year. Personal, physical, financial, spiritual. Lists are good. I have a print out on the side of my fridge of AFI’s top 100, and try to cross a few off every month. I’ve had yellow tablets of ‘”to-do”s with me for the better part of my adult years - for the few people I’ve met and invited into my world, this is one of their more significant memories of me.
On December 2nd of last year, I posted a short list of things I want to do before I die, though hopefully sooner rather than later. Carpe diem, hoser.
So here we are at a 3 month marker, complete with status and progress and additions. It looks a little weenieish to me, mostly because the balance of the things I’ve wanted to do and done aren’t listed, nor are the on-going bits or my real goals, but oh well.
