I put my Carmex on by sticking my lips - not my fingers - in the jar. When it gets too low for my beak to reach in and touch wax, I turn the jar upside-down on the dash of the Jeep for an afternoon in the sun and let it melt. When it cools back down to room temperature it’s as good as new.
