I dug these out of my wallet yesterday while attempting to find a $20 I was convinced I’d placed there. No money, but a few bits of long forgotten advice.
I don’t remember the specific dinners these came from or what the circumstances were that inspired my clinging to them, other than the hope of their being/coming true.
They’re back in the wallet now, tucked away safely in a dark fold of canvas and leather to be held close…and forgotten yet again.
