It is undeniably fall here in the south, where yesterday afternoon I sat outside in a cap sleeved dress, inhaling the change of the seasons and smiling at the puffs of wind we call gusts.

This morning has a distinctly different flavor, calling for a black turtleneck in lieu of a lightweight sweater and socks and Birks in lieu of flips. The fleece has made its first appearance of the season, the heater in the Jeep has been forced from its summer long slumber and I am ready for hibernation.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Sleepy.

Fall has definetly made it’s entrance up here, as well.
I was happy/sad that I had to dust off the Birks as well….BUT they felt so yummy when I put them on! And as much as I’d love to live in a T-shirt & jeans, I so enjoy being wrapped up in a warm sweater.
By January, I’m sick of it. But I’m trying to relish it right now ;)

I am glad that fall is here, yet I feel the presence of winter creeping in. I am looking forward to see the snow falling. Here is how things are for me.

Aww, Ace has such a happy sun!

I’m the same way – fall would be my favorite season by far, if it wasn’t the harbinger of winter, yuck!

The only thing winter is good for is letting my injuries from the softball season heal before the next season (Mar-Nov is my “season” right now). This winter is designated as Shoulder / Hamstring healing, while last winter was Shoulder / Achilles Tendon healing.

Tabitha – I’m sick of it before it even starts. I left Alaska for a reason!

Bear/Ace – That sure is a happy sun!

    Boo for winter. BOO.
