   Is it me or is that a lot of clothes for a man? My husband has like four shirts – which doesn’t matter because he wears the same outfit every day regardless.

   Remember being half as tall as you are now and you’d go through 4 or 5 outfits a day? Jammies, to school clothes, after school clothes, playing in the mud clothes and a fresh set of jammies?

   I probably have more than that in my closet. I think I cold actually wear a months worth without having to wash anything.

   Wire Hangers = We don’t wash anything in the closet….just bring them home from the dry cleaners (well most everything).

    Ok, so how much are big boy hangers vs free wire hangers?

    Let us assume tthay cost about $2 a pop and the MC has over 50 pairs of pants and 30 golf shirts and 30 dress shirts. That totals 110 hangers for $220 + Atlanta Tax.

    True it is a one time purchase and you might have to replace a few for damages once a year and buy some for new clothes.

    I could easily find something better to spend $220 on any day of the week. probably the way most guys are looking at this, expecially the MC.

    What are a few advantages to Big Boy hangers VS FREE Hangers?

    I love boy math.

    Real cost: $3.50 for 8.

    Let’s say his closet probably took about 50, which we’ll say is 7 packs of 8 (extras/empties) brings the whopping total to about $25 after tax.

    Advantage: have you met me?

    I’m with Mc on this one, big boy hangers are just another female (and queer eye) myth that they somehow make your clothes last longer (or some other horsesh**). They don’t, its just some kooky fantasy involving Richard Gere, a brown polka dot dress, and a wooden hanger. Which is likely made of an exotic wood from South America and is single handedly accelerating the clear cutting of the Amazon, global warming, and the destruction of ancient civilizations via the introduction of western culture.

    Do you want that “in” your shoulders? I think not! You should buy some carbon credits for those hangers!

    That said, I think the tree that provided our hangers was the Shel Silverstein giving tree, so it’s okay.
