I didn’t count them as we drove through North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia…I didn’t need to. They were like freckles on a sun worshiping redhead.

Too many climate controlled garages with stacks and stacks of things folks couldn’t bear to part with but clearly no longer need. Imagine if everyone went and had a “Clean Sweep” day at their unit, then we converted them to shelters or something more useful than a rentable cinder block and tin extension of the kid at the beach with the sand pail yelling “mine, mine, mine!”.

*sigh*

Back to reality.

    Wouldn’t it be nice…

if everyone took responsibility for themselves so we wouldn’t need charities

Yes, Dave. Things like floods or cancer combined with the shitty health care system in America are totally within ones control.

Not that I should humor your argument further, but did anyone say - buy you a drink or offer to help you find a new gig when you got shit-canned?

It’s called having a heart and compassion - though I recognize these concepts are entirely unfamiliar to you.

    Kissy boo.

    Sorry, I should have said:

    Wouldn’t it be nice…

if everyone took responsibility for themselves so they would not have to *rely* on charity

Luckily I can type by touch, since my eyes just rolled so far back in my head they stuck.

    Kyle,

According to those people who wish to buy votes by providing government healthcare to people, yes.
