The Mc and I were on the way to fetch my car from the office this morning when we saw a billow of smoke not far from where we were. As much as I hate being a lookie-loo, we stopped. The building was uninhabited - at least officially - and no one was harmed in the blaze. Pictures here.

It took me back to October 2004 when an arsonist was running around Atlanta, and reminded me how lucky I am. It also reminded me that my arson blog entry is how I met Codie the AWOL blog bandit (which lead to meeting Chachi The Wonder Slug and countless others), and that it’s been a while since I reached out to my old neighbors. Reminders were obviously needed, and reminders were neatly delivered.
