The Mc and I were on our way back from a day trip to NC when the bad weather thing happened in The ATL, so we missed all the excitement. Amen and hallelujah.

My girl Kim, however; was working as a boom operator at the game and got to see it all. Still haven’t had a chance to talk (not text) to her, but all is well. She was the bigger worry.

Today I took some time to walk around the city and snap a few shots, which are viewable here.

Thanks to everyone who called, emailed, texted or IM’ed - I appreciate you!

Great pics Maigh - and glad y’all are ok.

We had the Cobb County sirens go off 3 times Fri/Sat - but luckily all we got were 3 trips to the basement.

They said we’ll be able to go in to work Monday, but I wonder if they’ll have very strict paths we can take to get to the Towers.

The north tower looked okay, it was the east side of the south tower that had a bunch of windows missing/curtains hanging out. You know…where the streakers stay and flash the peeps in the atrium.

Yesterday a ton of roads around the bldg were closed, but the closure stopped just after the turn into the pit (if you’re coming from the west side down Marietta) so at least the parking shouldn’t be a bother. I wasn’t able to get close enough to see if anything else looked bad, but as near as I could tell the south side of the south tower was okay and like I said the whole north tower.

I guess you got the love note from properties?

Your pics are amazing. What a wild two days we had huh??? Us out west only got some major hail storms!! but that was freaky in itself.
