I woke up several times this morning, each time either to claws in my neck, back, face or chest. While I might have been tempted to hurl the wee kitty across the room like a furry screaming javelin, I refrained. I know he’s lonely, and bored and wanted me to get up and fill his bowl with the dry food he refuses to eat anyway.

Instead of entertaining my ideas of a kittypult, today I went to the bank and transferred some money. The transfer was a deposit on a new friend for Little G Money, a little white guy who we’ll pick up in a few weeks time from north Georgia. Much like ETK, The Mc has his heart set on a little white kitty. I would – predictably – favor a black one.

The woman who gifted us with The Little Dude has a white fella right now*, who with every day is getting closer to being grown up enough to come home with us. The universe knew what The Mc wanted, and needed, and it’s delivering.*

The pending addition to the family is family already – he shares a bloodline with Grayson, and according to Kay (his current human momma) the same wonderful disposition. She assures us that the boys will get along famously, and cuddle each other at night. I’ll miss my little heater, but it’ll warm my cold dark cockles to see him loving and snuggling on a new little friend.

Mostly, I hope Grayson doesn’t teach him how to ruin a perfectly good opportunity for the humans to sleep in, but I’m sure he will.
