It’s been two and a half months since we lost Amber, and while we haven’t healed yet, Grayson is chomping at the bit for a new friend to run his spastic kitty azz ragged.

Two weeks ago we went and met the kitty who will be his new little brother, yesterday we went for another visit during day one of Errandpalooza ‘08 and I managed to snap him a few times. He remembered me from our previous visit, came straight to me and burrowed himself in my lap.

New (yet to be named) Guy

Isn’t he adorable?

We think so too.

Now, what do you think we should name him?

Maybe “Digger” since he burrowed himself in your lap…

I name mine based on their actions: “Scooter” because he will be in a sitting position and literally scoots backwards to make room for the food dish and is constantly trying to scoot in the house. “Siren” because she sounds like an alarm when she is hungry with her insistent meowing. And “Princess” just because he (sex determined after the name) has an air about him that he is better than everyone.

And yes, he is adorable. >^..^<

He’s got some huge ears! I know he’ll probably grow into them but it seems like a trait that could be used to name him.

Oh, I lurve him! I cannot decide if he’s giving me dreamy bedroom eyes, or looking like a ninja, sizing me up and ready to attack if I try to reach through the screen and catnap him. I’ll go with the former. :) Congrats!

Oh, and based on the previous comments… if the former is the look, I think Romeo is appropriate. If it’s the latter, Bruce (for Bruce Lee) would be my pick.

Well, seeing that you’ve already got Grayson, just go for broke and name the new critter Dick…

    Excellent - keep ‘em coming!

@mishababy - yeah…that little white guy was a little older than this guy and since we bonded instantly our decision was made for us. :\

    Bogie (like Humphrey Bogart’s nickname)

don’t ask me why…it’s just what I see when I look into his wittle face.

    :-)

He also reminds me of the dancing cat on a Hallmark e-card…LOL!!

I keep thinking about Gizmo from Gremlins.

Wait a minute! I thought you were getting a white one??? What happened?

Well, he’s a cutie anyway and I’m sure he’ll make an excellent playmate for Mr. G. I’m a fan of themes - like maybe a name that starts with a G. or that rhymes with Grayson or “goes” in some way. I dunno - usually it just hits me.
