Sunday morning was the usual…fell out of the bed, took a half-asleep shower, grumbled at the local NPR station for adjusting their programming while headed for coffee. Grande mocha in hand I spread out on a table at the coffee shop (I’m too ashamed to specify by name) near The Cardboard Box and popped open the laptop.
452 words fell out of me.
Talk about how thankful I am for friends and opportunities and that other people put their faith in me even when I don’t have it in myself. Mostly about the doubts I have in myself.
Struggle definitely honored but only semi-purged, I went and sat in a chair for an hour and listened. I was reminded of too many things that were too perfect and at just the right time…so instead of publishing the post I intended to, I’ll give you the short version and just say this: I’m thankful.
Thankful for one good eye, for the camera The Mc gifted me with, for friends, for laughter, for early morning sunlight (and the freedom to enjoy it), and for people who want to go on great adventures with me – even if it’s just to the shed in their backyard.

You are so totally awesome!
I love that I wrote a somewhat similar post, just a couple of days ago, about how thankful I am for all my talented friends
Keep doing what you do.

Thank you Kim – I’m only awesome when surrounded by equally awesome people!
